A Little About Us
We'll tackle everyone's first query . . . yes, we are a married couple. Doug operates as a "Personal Real Estate Company" (PREC) with Krista performing the duties of an unlicensed assistant. These are two very distinct duties, but in the end compliment the goal of ensuring clients are well looked after and professionally represented in the buying and selling of real estate.
We have been in partnership since the early 1990's and as realtor & unlicensed assistant, we are two different entities in performing our duties that compliment each other. From the client's perspective, they soon realize they not only have Doug as their full time realtor working for them, but with Krista as his unlicensed assistant, he can offer varied opinions & views encapsulated in a very comprehensive service. Call it what you'd like . . .but ultimately the end result is client care that covers all the bases, providing you confidence and peace of mind!
On a personal level, we relocated to the Fraser Valley from Richmond some 30 odd years back and have resided in South Surrey for the past 18 years, where we've raised our two girls. With strong community ties from volunteering and supporting various charities, helping out with local school functions, we take pride in knowing we can help our communities. Many will know Doug from his numerous years coaching selects soccer (futba for those in the know!) at Coastal F.C. or recognize Krista who is often found assisting the local track and running community.
Professionally we have received numerous awards for performance in both the local real estate community with the Medallion Club, as well as RE/MAX international, being inducted into the RE/MAX HALL of FAME in 2008 then awarded the RE/MAX LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT in 2016 . . . both prestigious accomplishments. Soon we will add EXP realty levels to this!
Awards aside, real estate is our passion . . . from helping first time buyers getting into their very first home, to assisting clients transitioning between homes or those looking to invest for their futures . . . it's who we are!
